For runners looking for a convenient, tasty, and eco-friendly energy boost, One Good Thing (OGT) bars offer a fresh approach to fuelling on the move.
Designed with natural ingredients and an innovative wrapper free concept, these bars are ideal for fuelling without the hassle of plastic waste or fiddly packaging.
WHO IS ONE GOOD THING?
One Good Thing is a British startup founded by father and son, Mike and Daniel Bedford.
Mike, an avid cyclist, was motivated by the amount of plastic litter in the countryside and wanted to create a snack bar without traditional plastic wrappers. Together with Daniel, who brought scientific expertise, they developed a unique beeswax based edible coating that replaces the need for plastic or foil wrappers.
This innovation allows the bars to be eaten straight from your pocket, making them perfect for runners and cyclists.
WRAPPER FREE BARS

OGT bars are coated in a 100% natural, edible beeswax-based layer that works like the skin of an apple.
This coating protects the bar, keeping it fresh and waterproof, meaning it won’t absorb moisture or get sticky if it rains or if you sweat.
You can eat the bars directly from your pocket without stopping to unwrap. The coating is tasteless and very thin, adding to the texture without affecting flavour.
FLAVOURS
The bars are made from real food ingredients such as oats and honey, with natural flavourings that avoid flavour fatigue.
All these flavours share the same core benefits: natural, raw, cold-pressed ingredients; around 25g carbs per bar; an innovative edible beeswax coating that replaces plastic wrappers; and convenient pocket sized portions designed for active lifestyles such as running.
The snack bars offer five mouthwatering flavours inspired by classic desserts and cakes, including:
CHERRY BAKEWELL

Inspired by the traditional British Bakewell tart, the Cherry Bakewell flavour has a sweet, nutty cherry flavour to keep you fuelled.
This flavour was my favourite and I could of kept going back for more.
LEMON DRIZZLE
This bar is light but has small zingy sweet lemon kick, perfect for those who enjoy a light taste.
It offers a refreshing, energising flavour inspired by the classic lemon drizzle cake.
HONEYCOMB

The Honeycomb flavour has a crunchy, caramelised sweetness reminiscent of honeycomb toffee.
This flavour is also real light tasting like a traditional flapjack and not over powering in any way.
SALTED CARAMEL
The salted caramel flavour has an indulgent taste with a balance of sweet caramel and a hint of saltiness.
This was another favourite of mine that I could of gone back for more.
CHOCOLATE & ORANGE

Chocolate & Orange bars combine the classic flavour pairing of rich chocolate with zesty orange notes.
