The Soar Running Wooltech Top is a lightweight running top perfect for spring and autumn runs in cool conditions or as base layer in the cold winter months under a running jacket.
Features
- 1 handy pocket - On your back big enough to fit my iPhone in it.
- Hand warmer mitts - Thumbholes allow you to run with you hands in your sleeves without stretching the fabric.
- Italic technic fabric - Extremely lightweight sweat wicking fabric made from merino wool meaning it does not rub, keeping you warm whilst repelling the cold and allowing sweat to escape.
- Laser cut fabric with bonded construction - Making it light and reducing the the risk of abrasion further.
Size Guide
The Wooltech top fits really snuggly, like most Soar Running garments.
I am normally a size XL but I did go a size up, mainly because it was a little too snug around my stomach and I was a little self conscious about how snug it fitted in that area.

What Is It Made Of?
It is made from a lightweight, plush, merino faced fabric.

- 47% Virgin Wool (WV)

Price
Is it expensive? £170 for a running top or base layer may seem expensive but it is well worth the investment.
Due to the quality of the materials, the cut and bonded seams this is a running top that will last you for years to come.
Conclusion
The Soar Running Wooltech Top has become one of my staple go to running tops as a base layer for winter or milder conditions on its own.
The high quality of the material keeps allows your sweat to wick through during cool conditions but keep you warm when it is cold. It drys really quickly after washing it.
Soar Running has created a great range of colour choices and it also partners perfectly with the Soar Running Winter Anorak as a base layer.
