It can also be used as an Electrical Muscle Stimulation (EMS) device for muscle recovery and training.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
The device works by sending gentle electrical impulses through the skin to the nerves, effectively blocking pain signals and providing relief for both short term and long term pain.
When used as an EMS device, it stimulates muscle contractions to aid in recovery and enhance athletic training.

BATTERY LIFE AND CHARGING
The Pulsio TENS Pod boasts an impressive battery life of up to 5 hours, which is supposed to translate to over two weeks of daily use on a single charge.
It houses two 70mmAh Lithium ion rechargeable batteries and uses USB-C charging.
The battery seems to last for ages and I rarely need to charge it.
HOW TO USE PULSIO TENS POD
- Remove the electrode pads and control units from the charging pod and place each circular control unit on the electrode pads.
- Peel the protective film away from the electrode pads. Keep hold of the film for storage later.
- Carefully stick the TENS unit on to clean, dry skin, pressing the pad down firming to adhere. To turn it on, press and hold the power button in the centre of the control unit.
- A beep will sound and a red light will illuminate to indicate that the device is active. Mode 1, the default mode, will begin.
- To change the modes press the power button to alternate between each mode.
- To increase the stimulation level press the plus button on the control unit. To reduce the stimulation press the minus button on the control unit. A beep will sound with every action.

You can use it on various parts of the body where pain relief is needed, such as the back, neck, shoulders, arms and legs.
I find it effective on my achilles area, reducing flare ups and promoting blood flow for faster recovery in an region to your body that has less blood flow.

WOULD I RECOMMEND IT?
In short yes, it would be great to have some sort of LCD display on the control unit to tell you what mode or strength you are using, but were big fans of Pulsio's range of great value recovery products and this fits the bill nicely.
It has been a godsend for my achilles area and as soon as I have a flare up this is my go to product.
